I am vegan now eight and a half years, and gave up meat even longer ago, though I only knew about this very healthy way I found that is possible with being vegan since spring in 2016, with whole foods. I think just about all vegans know to supplement for vitamin B12, or have foods fortified with it, really everyone should do that, and they need to eat right for having enough iron, and vitamin D if they can't get adequate sun for it being made automatically in their body. Everyone can benefit from supplementing for vitamin C, and I do that.
